James Blomerus

James has been in the helicopter business since 1993. He founded Helicape in 2004 amongst other helicopter related business interests, including charter operations and helicopter ownership.

He holds a B.Sc (Engineering) degree from UCT and is a Commercial Helicopter pilot rated on EC120, AS350, B206 and R44.

He is a past president of the Helicopter Association of Southern Africa (HASA) and currently serves on the Executive committee.

He has been a director of the Commercial Aviation Association of Southern Africa CAASA since 2004.
